Since 1986, Suzi Bredbenner has collaborated with small- to mid-size corporations to strategize, develop, or repair their company’s financial situation. With experience in both private and public sector fields, she has a proven track record of improving efficiencies, growing profits, ensuring compliance, and helping to create a strong business foundation. Suzi can find deficiencies and inconsistencies, and remedy them quickly!
She served as a Senior Auditor at Ernst & Young where she gained valuable experience in a variety of fields including manufacturing, newspaper publishing, city and county municipalities, retail sales, hotel operations, and nonprofit organizations. She has held both Controller and CFO positions in manufacturing, media, postsecondary schools, stevedoring and port operations businesses.
Suzi holds a Masters of Accountancy from Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton Florida, a Bachelors of Science in Accounting degree from Stetson University, Deland, Florida, and is a Florida-licensed Certified Public Accountant. She has recently added to her competencies: Web3, Metaverse, and Cryptocurrency technologies.
She and her husband Chris live in Ruskin, Florida where she enjoys cruising, theme parks, and being creative. She has spent decades and countless hours volunteering in and for a variety of community-based organizations with a focus on helping young people and the community-at-large reach their potential.

Civic Engagement
Most important to Suzi are her volunteer efforts in and for the community – it is where is has the greatest impact and the deepest personal joy!
She is a lifetime member of Girl Scouts of the USA, where she received the prestigious Thanks Badge Award – a national recognition – for her 20 years of service as volunteer. She serves as an adult trainer specializing in outdoor skills for the Girl Scouts of West Central Florida and she is a former troop leader.
She is an active member of three local chapters of Kiwanis International where she serve in leadership roles. She was Past President and is the current Treasurer of the Southshore Florida chapter, Past President of Greater Brandon, and Club Opener and Club Coach with the Uptown Tampa Club. She is the Florida District Chair of the Bring Up Grades program, and a Past Distinguished Lieutenant Governor. In all of her roles, she has supported the Kiwanis’ goal of strengthening communities through service to children and their families.
Since 2020, she has volunteered with the Firehouse Cultural Center, a multi-use, cultural and educational facility. She is the current Treasurer of the Ruskin Memorial Park Association.

My business hasn’t filed taxes in two years, can 1PCFO help get us in good standing?
1PCFO can assist your business to get accounting records up to date, in a manner that will be acceptable to your tax accountant. We will reconcile balance sheet accounts and help you understand your profit and loss statements. 1PCFO will work with your tax accountant to the extent that is necessary and provided for in our engagement letter with you.
It is important to work with a qualified professional to prepare your tax returns and to work the IRS. We recommend you engage with a CPA in your state specializing in tax preparation, or an Enrolled Agent.

What’s the process for working with 1PCFO?
Initial contact: 30 minute no fee consultation, usually via phone call to discuss your business and general requirements for our services.
Requirements assessment: 1 hour assessment either in person or via zoom. Where we will further dive into your accounting records and needs assessment. This will include completing our client survey. From here we are able to determine what the scope of work will entail and generally have a verbal agreement.
Engagement letter: 1PCFO will provide an engagement letter of the scope of the work and terms of payment. The engagement will commence after the letter is signed and returned, and initial payment is made.
Implementation: 1PCFO will begin working with you on your engagement.
